LSU and North Carolina meet in Chapel Hill in the NCAA Regional round of college baseball.
The NCAA baseball tournament regional round continues on Saturday. In Chapel Hill, the two winners from yesterday are set to meet in the second game of the regional for both teams. LSU come into this game off of a 4-3 win over Wofford on Friday, overcoming an early two-run deficit and then later a second two-run deficit. The Tigers hit three home runs in the eighth and ninth inning to take the victory on Friday, capped by a Steven Milan walk-off, his second solo shot of the game.

North Carolina took down LIU by an 11-8 final score on Friday. It was an offensive explosion for both teams, with the bulk of the scoring coming in the ninth inning. Long Island scored four in the top of the inning, but UNC roared back with a six-run bottom of the ninth. Gavin Gallaher walked off with a grand slam to give the Tarheels the win.
