Christine Ferea will take on Jade Masson-Wong in the Women’s Flyweight Championship of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships tonight. Ferea is currently the champion of her weight class with Masson-Wong looking to take the title in tonight’s fight. Ferea is a US-born fighter with the nickname “Misfit”. At 41 years old, she has won her last six fights with her last loss coming in 2019 against Helen Peralta. She has since beaten Calie Cutler, Calista Silgado, Britain Hart, Taylor Starling and Bec Rawlings (twice). Her only two fights on the 2023 docket were both against Rawlings, in April and December of last year. Standing at 5-foot-6, Ferea is 8-1-0 in her career as a pro-bare-knuckle fighter. She will look to continue to hold her championship belt with her ninth win here tonight.

On the other side will stand Masson-Wong. She is just barely shorter than Ferea standing at 5-foot-4 and 126 pounds. She is the current No. 1 ranked fighter in the flyweight category, and she is coming for the only thing she doesn’t currently have: the belt. The Canadian-born fighter is 31 years old and has a 3-1-0 record in her career.
Her first fight came back in 2021 when she took down Crystal Pittman in Montana. Her loss came early in the next year getting beat by Christine Vicens in Knucklemania II. She has since beaten Taylor Starling and Gabrielle Roman since. Starling was her only fight in 2023, and she took down Roman earlier this year.
