There is a tie atop the leaderboard heading into the final round of the 40th Shinhan Donghae Open in South Korea.
Things are getting really tight heading into the final round of the 40th Shinhan Donghae Open from Incheon, South Korea. Kosuke Suzuki started the third round with the outright lead but now he shares the top of the leaderboard with Kensei Hirata at 16 strokes under par. Both leaders are also from Japan. The course was a scorcher after the first two days saw clouds and rain but that wasn’t a deterrent for Hirata. He shot a 10-under-par at Ocean Course at Club72 for the best round of the weekend so far in this tournament. Suzuki shot a 69 in the third round to tie Hirata.

Chanmin Jung from South Korea rounds out the top three after shooting a 63 on Day 3 and is just two strokes behind Suzuki and Hirata. It will take a lot to overcome Hirata as he came into this to tournament on a roll. He won the Fujisankei Classic of the Japan Golf Tour just last weekend. Hirata is just 23 years old and has an incredibly bright future ahead. Can anyone pull off this upset on this last Sunday from Incheon?
