The 53rd annual New York City Marathon will take to the streets of the Big Apple on Sunday morning. Watch free on Fubo.
On Sunday morning, runners will flock to New York City for the 53rd annual NYC Marathon. This year’s rendition saw an astonishing 165,000 applications; the most since the inception of the race. This race marks the last of the six World Marathon Major events in the 2024 calendar year. The course weaves through the five boroughs of New York City, beginning in Staten Island and ending in Central Park. The 26.2-mile race will begin at 8:00 a.m. ET with the Professional Wheelchair Division before Handcycle and Select Athletes with Disabilities take to the course at 8:22 a.m. The Professional Women’s Open Division will follow at 8:35 a.m. before the Professional Men’s Open Division begin at 9:05 a.m.

In addition to professional marathoners, the New York City course will also see several celebrities who will be running to raise money for their favorite charities. Good Morning America and 20/20’s Amy Robach will be running as well as MTV’s Catfish host, Nev Shulman. While Shulman has been a regular fixture in the race, a serious bike accident earlier this year in which he broke his neck threatened to sideline him. His recovery was a process, but it went well enough that he will chance the race again.
Another familiar face that may be seen along the streets of New York is former Bachelor, Matt James, while fellow Bachelor Peter Weber will also be running. Zac Clark, Joe Amabile and Tayshia Adams will join fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alums.
