The final day of play in Berlin at the 2024 Laver Cup will crown a champion of tennis between Team Europe and Team World today.

It all comes down to the final day of play in the 2024 Laver Cup to determine whether Europe or the rest of the world has the best talent this year. Two of the last four years the winning region walked into the final day of play with double-digit points. This year Team World is up 8-4 heading into today. There are four matches on the schedule today starting with doubles, followed by three singles matches to determine a champion. Friday the matches were worth one point each, Saturday two points and today all four matches are worth three points. Team World wins the 2024 Laver Cup with two wins tomorrow, while Team Europe would need to win three of four matches setting the stage for an incredible finish.

Doubles action kicks off the day with Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe from Team World looking to put the pressure on Team Europe, who send out the team of Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud. That will begin the theme of Americans closing out the 2024 Laver Cup for Team World.

From there, singles will decide the winner of the 2024 Laver Cup. Shelton stays on the court for Team World taking on Daniil Medvedev from Team Europe in the first singles, which could decide the Laver Cup. If necessary the third singles match features Tiafoe from Team World challenging Alexander Zverev from Team Europe and then Taylor Fritz from Team World faced Alcaraz on Team Europe in the final match, again if necessary. Mathematically, there is no potential for a tie-breaker doubles-match this year.

Through two days of play Shelton and Fritz have led Team World with wins in doubles and singles. Cerundolo and Tiafoe also won their matches to give Team World an 8-4 points lead heading into the final day of action from Berlin today.
