Semifinal spots from Group B on the line Tuesday as unbeaten England takes on West Indies.
England (3-0, 6 points) is the last unbeaten team in Group B at the International Cricket Council Women’s T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, but it has yet to assure itself a berth in the semifinals. On Tuesday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, England takes on West Indies (2-1, 4 points) to determine the final standings in Group B. An England win sends it and South Africa (3-1, 6 points) onto the knockout stage. But a win for the Windies complicates things, leaving a three-way tie atop the group.

England remained unbeaten with a 10-wicket victory over Scotland on Sunday, 113 to 109 and 6. Scotland opted to bat first, but Maia Bouchier and Danni Wyatt-Hodge made their inning count. Bouchier earned Player of the Match honors with 62 runs off 34 balls and Wyatt Hodge added 51 off 26. Sophie Ecclestone bowled four overs with two wickets taken and just 13 runs surrendered.
West Indies stayed in the hunt to advance with an eight-wicket win over Bangladesh on Thursday, 104 and 2 to 103 and 8. Karishma Ramharack’s bowling netted four wickets and she allowed 17 runs in four overs. Ramharack was named Player of the Match. Captain Hayley Matthews notched 34 runs off 22 balls and Stafanie Taylor had 27 off 29 before retiring from the match with a knee injury. Her status for Tuesday is unclear.
South Africa owns a head-to-head victory over Bangladesh and lost to England. In a three-way tie scenario, however, net run ratio is used. Should England lose by a small enough margin, it would advance with the Windies. An England victory sends it and the Proteas onto the semifinals.
