Brazil advanced to the knockout phase of the tournament following a first-place finish in Group B. The Brazilian national team took a perfect nine points out of its three matches to make it to the round of 16. First, Brazil took a 10-0 thrashing of Cuba on Sep. 14. The team then followed that up with an 8-1 finish over Croatia on matchday two. Finally, the favorite to win it all beat Thailand 9-1 on the final matchday of the group stage on Sep. 20.

The Brazilian national team came away with a 5-0 finish to put itself in the quarterfinals of the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
Meanwhile, Morocco finished in second place in Group E. The African team secured six points in three matches in the group stage to advance to the knockout phase.
The Moroccan national team kicked off the first phase of the competition with a 4-2 win over Tajikistan, before beating Panama 6-3 on matchday two.
The team then fell against Portugal on the final matchday of the group stage, which led to its round-of-16 matchup against Iran. Morocco beat Iran 4-3 to advance to the quarterfinal meeting with Brazil.
