The 2024 China Open rounds out the Round of 64 in the women’s draw and Round of 16 in the men’s draw today.
The ATP Tour wraps up the Round of 16 at the China Open today where three of the four top seeds have already advanced. Fourth-seeded Andrey Rublev looks to join Jannick Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev, the top three seeds, in the quarterfinals. Rublev’s match is one of three left on the schedule today along with sixth-seeded Lorenzo Musetti and seventh-seeded Karen Khachanov, who also look to advance to the quarterfinals. Over in the women’s draw, the tournament is in just the Round of 32 today with top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka, second-seeded Jessica Pegula and 14 other seeded players all looking to advance into the Round of 16.

If Sabalenka and Pegula continue to advance they have the potential of facing off in the finals, which would be a rematch of the U.S. Open just under a month ago. In that match, Sabalenka won 7-5, 7-5 in a hard-fought, competitive match for her third Grand Slam singles title and second of the year.
Sabalenka takes on unseeded Ashlyn Krueger while Pegula will be challenged by 32nd seeded Veronika Kudermetova. Also on the schedule are third-seeded Jasmine Paolini, 15th-seeded Paula Badosa and 18th-seeded Madison Keys all looking to make a run for a singles title.
In the Round of 16 matches for the men tonight, Rublev takes on Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Musetti is challenged by Yunchaokete Bu and Khanchanov with battle Francisco Cerundolo all with the potential move on to the quarterfinals and continue on in the 2024 China Open.
